Organisations that are based at Citylife House or use our facilities during the week:

209radio - fostering the provision of radio services to groups that are otherwise underserved, the facilitation of discussion and expression of opinion, the provision of education and training, the better understanding of the community and the strengthening of links within it.
Specific projects include:-
BME/ethnic community specific programming and training funded by the Community Development Foundation
Girl Guide magazine programme
Youth programme with a youth based international development charity
A series of programmes in partnership with the Cambridge Volunteer Centre, highlighting volunteer opportunities in the area and branding the centre itself
A fully client-group-led magazine programme for the homeless/vulnerably housed community.
 
Cambridge Chinese Community Centre - traditional Chinese dance, lion dance, Tai Chi, badminton, karaoke, card games, Chinese chess and Chinese culture functions open to everybody – including over 200 Chinese members.
 
Cambridge Capoiera - Cambridge Group Senzala Capoeira: beginner and intermediate training in this Brazilian art form which combines elements of dance, play and ritualistic fighting.

Singto Muay Thai Kick Boxing - Cambridge Thai Boxing Academy: six sessions a week for beginners, intermediate, advanced and under 13s.

Cambridge Community Circus - workshops open to all - juggle, trapeze and unicycle.

Cambridgeshire County Council Youth Service - in addition to hosting St Matthews Youth Club and a drop-in centre, Citylife House hosts mechanics certification programmes for excluded / at risk students from 5 Cambridge schools, the ConnectEd programme (Education Other Than At School), Just Us – Looked After Children (for Social Services), Student Support (Asham Road) Groups, Youth Offending Groups and Youth Inclusion Groups. Assistance in skills development (both practical and social) and into employment are key outcomes from this work.
