Plans for building
The site for the Innovation Centre has already been purchased with a grant from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
The Centre will provide 30,000 square feet of affordable mixed office and workshop units and open-plan hot-desking space for individuals or organisations wanting to start trading or expand a social business.
Key features will be:
- Easy-in, easy-out terms;
- Availability of on-site business support;
- Co-location with other like-minded organisations;
- Networking opportunities facilitated by the design of the building;
- Shared back-office services and equipment;
- Friendly and supportive environment.
