East London Bond
The East London Bond
The idea of the East London Bond is to use a ‘money back’ charitable Bond to bring new funding to East London which remains one of the most deprived places in Europe. This has to be done in time for local people to participate in the development opportunities coming to this community. Huge progress has been made and, subject to market conditions, an initiative is nearly ready to go. The key thing is that two really impressive charities right at the heart of the Olympic Area can help transform East London over the next 5 years – the Bromley by Bow Centre and Community Links.

Boost Bond matures August 2007 - £1.9m returned to investors!
The Boost Bond matured at the end of August and cheques have been returned to investors. Thanks to the generous belief and support of all investors, the Bond has done exceptionally well but, as you will see from the picture below and
newsletter, leaves a tremendous lasting legacy.
The Bond mechanism has proved itself effective, compelling, yet extremely safe. Plans are now underway for a new bond to help East London, due for launch in early 2008. Many investors have chosen to roll over their investment into the next Bond.
