Edinburgh Bond

 

 

Edinburgh is one of the wealthiest cities in the UK, with high rates of employment and high salaries. But there is a skills and workforce shortage - even though there is a ready pool of people willing to work but unable to due to the very high costs of childcare. On top of this, Edinburgh has many marginalized young people currently excluded from the jobs market having dropped out of training or education.

 

Citylife is now looking to launch a Bond in Edinburgh - the first in Scotland - aimed at allowing parents back to work and getting more young people ready for employment.
