Our Directors act as Trustees to Citylife and meet 3-4 times a year to discuss the Society. Their welath of experience help us govern the Citylife ethos, priorities and key projects as well as help us develop new business opportunities.
 
Chairman
Professor Ram Gidoomal, CBE, CCMI, FRSA
Ram has over twenty years' experience of working within the private, public and voluntary sectors at both board and senior management level. He is a Freeman of the City of London; Vice President of The Shaftesbury Society; Court Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute. In 2002 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Law by Bristol University.
 
 
 
Steve Mather
Steve is Managing Director of Places for People Regeneration, established to develop and manage innovative approaches to addressing issues including: lifelong learning, childcare, access to employment, enterprise development, financial inclusion and housing market renewal. Former Economic Development Director at New East Manchester, one of the first Urban Regeneration Companies, and Personnel Recruitment Manager for Asda supermarket.

Chief Executive of the Relationships Foundation, charity dedicated to building relationships in public and private life.
 
 
 
Alan Craig
Local Councillor for Newham, London and former Director of the Mayflower Centre church and community centre in Canning Town: one of the most deprived neighbourhoods in Greater London.
 
 
 
Paul Doye
Former Director of Charterhouse Bank and Charterhouse Corporate Finance.
 
 
 
Charles Rosenmeyer

Charles Rosenmeyer is the UK and European head of the CMS Hotels and Leisure Group and is the London partner leading the firm’s European Real Estate Practice.  He has extensive experience in property development and investment and spends much of his time on cross border transactions.  He advises on all aspects of hotels and real estate - investment, development, letting, management, sales and insolvencies.  He has been involved in a substantial number of high value transactions involving office buildings, retail, hotels, shopping centres, golf courses, cinemas and other leisure developments and landfill and quarry schemes.  He has also dealt with a large number of portfolio sales and purchases and transactions involving joint venture structuring and unusual tax planning.
 
A partner for 30 years, he currently spends much time in relation to the development, purchase, sale, funding and management of city-centre schemes and also hotels at home and abroad.
